Friendship blog hop for Lisa

Hi everyone,
We are doing a blog hop for our very good friend Lisa Tyrell, she is in hospital at the moment and we would like nothing more than to put a smile on her face.
Here is a list of all the the blogs with a project for Lisa, mine will be late unfortunately as I collect my exam results today and forgot to bring my laptop away with us. Please enjoy the hop and if you can't manage to go around all of the blogs please leave some love and healing wishes on Lisas blog, it would mean the world not only to her but all her friends and family also.

Divorce card maybe?!?

Hi all again three times in one day you will all be bored of me.
I made this card recently as a personal challenge, a really girly goth card.
I know I didn't think I could do it either but here it is.
I sourced the image from DeviantArt and cut the background on my silhouette cameo.
HERE is a great site for cutting files and inspiration.
I hope you like it,

Coffin Gift Box

Hi all.
Recently I purchased a silhouette cameo (Happy dance) and I am hooked on what this thing can do.
The first thing I purchased was a coffin gift box cutting file, this is the photo of what it looks like without any embellishments added. Quite impressive just on its own really, and not too much work involved.

Here is a the same box (second cut my daughter liked the first one) but decorated and personalised,
it's very easy to transform and would suit anyone's small gifts if they like the alternative type of gift anyway.

Thanks for looking

Creepmas in July

Hi all,
this week over at LOC we are celebrating Creepmas in July.
We have Ikes art as a sponsor, you should check out the shop so many cool images.
I have coloured one of said images with my promarkers, but unfortunately haven't been able to get to my Christmas/Creepmas/Winter craft box due to a unfortunate string of events.
Luckily I have an old make to share with you for inspiration and my coloured image. I hope you like them and I am not going to get jealous promise when you get to join in.

I can not believe I forgot to share this!!! It was my daughters 6th birthday in May and I made her this card.
I found a template for a Disney themed castle, for the princess mad little monkey it can be found HERE.
The project in the link wasn't intended to be a card so I just adjusted it very slightly, it was the biggest card I have ever made.
She loved it thank goodness as it took me an age to make, I just hope you all like it too.

The Eastwind shrink plastic handbag charm

it is time for another challenge over at left of center challenges.
The theme this fortnight is Girly, I am not very girly so was thinking outside the box.
In the end I decided to make a handbag charm/keyring, it was my first time using shrink plastic so took a few attempts. If you decide to print on shrink plastic and it is smooth both sides (some have a scratchy back), sand it with a fine sand paper first in both directions.
The sponsors are The Eastwind  and Sassy studios.
I choose an image from The Eastwind , she is called Lucy Loo.

Baby boy card

My cousin had a baby boy recently, I made this card from a kanban kit I had forgotten about so glad I found it again. The letters are raised with foam pads (run out of my beloved pinflair :( .) although the picture doesn't really show it.
I cut a large circle with my Joy trouvaille and folded it in half for the card to rock.

Wedding cards

I was recently asked to make two wedding cards,
and while looking through my mass of stash I came across lots of old kanban kits. I was amazed I still had so much of it, at one point every card I made had kanban on.
Both the base cards where made with pearlesnt cardstock one white and one ivory.
Hope you like them and I will have more kanban makes to show again soon, well it would be crazy not to use them now I have found them again.

Chainmaille Bracelet

Hi its time for another challenge over at Just for fun challenge blog,
the theme this month is lace and or ribbons.
I decided to learn something new and decided
that something would be chainmaille.
After a few Youtube videos and picture tutorials I set to work,
I then decided to make it into a bracelet.
To do this I added some black lace and silver plated chain.
It needed something a little more so that is where the little skull charm came in,
I mean who doesn't like little skulls with cute flowers eh.
Its a very easy to learn process, would be great if some of you have a go and let me know how you get on.

Rugby cards

Hi all,
I made these easel cards for a challenge over on Mad crafters giggles on Facebook, I got both cards from a A4 sheet of card stock. The toppers are from a kanban kit I have. These are very simple to make and you can do as little or as much to them as you like

Pop up box card

Hi all,
I have found a new (to me) fold that I just love and would like to share with you all.
I found the tutorial on how to do this HERE, it is very easy to follow and you can do lots of different styles with it.

I wanted this one to be like a box of flowers you get from the florists, but without the hassle of having to feed and water the roses lol.
I wrote mum on mine but any sentiment could go on here really, and with a lot of hospitals not allowing flowers now this might be a good theme for a get well soon card.

I made this one for my Husbands valentines card, this was the first one I had made.
I kept this one quite simple as the red and silver miri cards, made the embellishments stand out.
The sentiment was heat embossed with glitter embossing powder.

I hope you give it a go as it is very simple and great fun.
They fold to fit in a flat envelope so no need to worry about making a box to fit.

I would like to enter these challenges-
